Light AI hires Emergo by UL to support regulatory submissions
Light AI, a Vancouver-based healthcare technology company, has partnered with Emergo by UL, an Austin, Texas-based regulatory compliance consulting firm specializing in the medical devices industry.
The partnership marks a new milestone in the commercialization journey of Light AI, which is listed on the CBOE stock exchange.
The firm (formerly Mojave Brands), is developing a diagnostics platform that applies AI algorithms to smartphone images to identify diseases – currently focusing on Group A Streptococcus.
Emergo by UL will initially help Light AI navigate regulatory submissions to Health Canada, and then help shape a global strategy for regulatory compliance.
